Study of the world's people, culture, history, geography, etc. to help global understanding and promote empathy. Concentration is primarily on European history, but may be changed to suit international happenings.
In World Cultures we research and plan a European vacation using the internet. Students find plane schedules, times and prices. They create an itinerary to be followed which includes route maps and hotels used along with prices. Students even plan out what to pack in their luggage according to the climate and time of the year they will be traveling. Students also focus on what significant sights might be seen in each stop.
