      WHEN SPEAKING OF OTHERS, I WILL NOT DEVALUE THEM TO MY AUDIENCE.

 

IF I HAVE ENERGY ABOUT AN ISSUE OR A PERSON, I WILL SPEAK DIRECTLY TO THAT PERSON IN A TIMELY MANNER.

 

PROBLEMS DON’T EXIST WHEN I AM WILLING TO HELP SOLVE THEM.

 

BE ISSUE FOCUSED, NOT PEOPLE FOCUSED.

 

APPROACH DISAGREEMENTS WITH A COMMITMENT TO LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND THE OTHER PERSON’S POINT OF VIEW.

 

ALLOW TIME FOR PEOPLE TO PROCESS BEFORE EXPRESSING THEIR POINT OF VIEW.

 

ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS AND ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY GOES A LONG WAY IN BUILDING BRIDGES OF COMMUNICATION.

 

GENERATE A VARIETY OF PROPOSALS CONSISTENT WITH THE VALUES OF THE ORGANIZATION EXPRESSED IN THE MISSION STATEMENT.

 

TAKE OWNERSHIP: BE COMMITTED TO MAKING THE PROPOSALS WORK.
