Materials needed
bulletText and workbook: Microsoft Word 2000 by Duffy-Cram-Swanson.
bulletNotebook paper and pencil/pen. All assignments and notes should be kept in a folder/binder for review.

 

Extra Credit Opportunity

§         You can receive extra credit if you do a one-day job shadow project in a company, which is related to technology duties. The teacher will consult you in finding and evaluating your project.

Classroom Policies and Ethical Behavior

Courtesy and respect for everyone is expected. Behavior that interrupts, distracts, or inhibits learning is not acceptable.

Everyone is expected to cooperate with each other.

Hall passes are given only for reasonable requests. Students can request a hall pass 2 times per Unit.

Refrain from writing or defacing books, equipments such computer, and furniture in any way. In case of vandalism of equipment, the teacher reserves the right to remove the class credit for the student.

Unethical behavior or cheating will be treated seriously; the teacher reserves the right to remove the class credit for the student.

Keep your work area neat and clean. Pick up litter from floor before leaving the classroom.

Bring note-taking materials every day. Take notes which you are expected to remember and use what you learn.

NO FOOD OR DRINK in the classroom. WATER is allowed.

All regulations and policies stated in the computer lab and student handbook are effected in this class.
