Physical
Science
Physical Science is the study of matter and energy. It is a process of applying observations and intuitions to situations and problems, formulating hypotheses and drawing conclusions. The class will be engaged in understanding what matter is and why it behaves the way it does. The class will seek answers to how energy is produced, how it travels from place to place, and how it can be controlled. The class will be engaged in interactive labs that apply science principles. The fastest objects in the universe to the slowest objects in the universe will be acquiesced. Students will see how physical science relates to engineering, medicine, technology and numerous careers. Physical Science is divided into three main categories: Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science.
