Multimedia

Multimedia is a creative course that includes individualized and group projects using the following software programs: Power Point, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Work, Photoshop Elements and Adobe Photoshop. Skills will be taught on using scanners, digital cameras, movies with I-Movie, on the Macintosh, G4. The video annual, news broadcasts, and year book will be class projects that will involve a year commitment. Students will be assigned and required to do specific number of assignments per unit. This class can be taken for the following credit. Art, Occupational, and as an elective. A credit of .5 or a letter grade can be earned at the completion of this class.

 

Computer Use

 

Students need to stay on appropriate sites. Students should not go on chat lines, e-mail or other in appropriate sites. A computer permission slip must be signed to use the Tiger Mountain Community High School computers. Students should log off after computer use. Students will be taught to navigate to student folders to save all projects. Next the students will save work on a CD to take to future colleges or employers.

 

Assignments

 

 Five assignments per unit will be required. Students will be required to do presentations before the class to showcase their favorite or best projects.
