Botany is the study of the plant kingdom. The diversity and ecological importance of plants is emphasized.  Students grow plants in the greenhouse and take care of the campus plants. Horticulture (hands on) and Botany (the scientific study of plants) are combined to make a valuable science. Field trips are an added enrichment.
