Shari Davison-Plunk

My name is Shari and I came to Tiger Mountain in 1998 as a parent of a junior. We had just moved from Colorado where she attended an alternative school, so the traditional route was not an option. The moment we stepped onto the campus, we both fell in love with this high school. My daughter continued to grow and flourish here. She later graduated with scholarships and academic excellence in 2000. During that time, I started out volunteering wherever the staff needed me. I spent a lot of my time working on reopening the school's library that had been closed for several years. Pretty soon I was here all the time and the principal offered me a 1 hour position as the Health E.A. I was so excited. In June 2001, I applied for and received a fulltime E.A. position here at Tiger in the ISEP/Special Services Department, and I haven't looked back since. My job takes on many colors. I am wherever, whatever, and whenever the staff or kids need me. I love this school, the staff, and, most of all, the students. It keeps me young!
